Update for General Plan.  Planning Commission will hear public comments on July 17th at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Meeting Center. The General Plan “blueprint” sets the citywide land use plans for the next twenty years. The draft General Plan report is available for review at the local libraries, at City Hall, and online at http://www.gardengrovefuture.info.  You may phone Erin Webb at 741-5312 for more information.

Phone use changes are set to begin next month. First, you may not use hands on cell phones while driving or risk a fine. See http://www.dmv.ca.gov/cellularphonelaws/index.htm for more details. Second, you will need to dial 1-714 before in order to complete local calls. This change is mandatory beginning August 23rd. All local calls will remain local, but you will have to dial 1-714 prior to dialing the local number.

We encourage interested and involved residents to join our association board.  We want to hear your views for how to maintain and improve our neighborhood. Please come to our meeting Saturday, July 12th and talk to one of our board members or contact us via our website http://www.cggna.org/

Thoughtfully,    Robin Marcario, Chair   534-1428
