The Planning Commission
approved
the use of
artificial/synthetic turf
as landscaping in Garden Grove. The City Council will review and make a
final determination in March. The proposed ordinance will set standards
for color and percentage of landscaping as well as installation and
drainage. If City Council permits artificial/synthetic turf, residents
will be eligible for a rebate from the Orange County Water District as
an incentive to conserve water.
