“One More Productions” revives Gem Theater. City Council approved a ten year contract to further the arts in Garden Grove. On Main Street we now have two summer Shakespearian productions in the amphitheater, Legacy Arts Studio, for music and dance The Colony Inc. and our Gem Theater. Our first Dog Park approved which is a gated area for our dogs to socialize and run free, at Garden Grove Park by our City Council and funded by the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

Two arrested for fireworks factory in Garden Grove. Our Garden Grove Police Department is to be commended for the constant diligence in combating illegal fireworks problems. Our fire department and the County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad also responded to safely remove these explosives. Two men were charged with possession and manufacturing of large amounts of dangerous explosives used to create illegal fireworks in a Garden Grove business complex.

Combat Graffiti in our city call the hotline at 741-5381 to report, City Council recently approved a new graffiti removal truck for the Public Works Department and you can help by volunteering at the Graffiti Paint Out on Saturday, March 15th, from 8:00am till noon, more information call 741-5372.
