Tuesday, January 16th, Supervisor Candidate Forum at 12:30pm, Community Meeting Center 11200 Stanford Avenue, our local AARP is sponsoring a forum for the upcoming County Supervisor candidates. Come listen and ask questions to assess which candidate will best represent us on the Board of Supervisors for Orange County.
Thursday, January 18th, 2007, at 7:00pm is a formal public hearing before the Garden Grove Planning Commission. The commission will vote and make a recommendation to our elected city council. The meeting will be held at 11300 Stanford Avenue in our Community Meeting Center. The property owner at 9792 Stanford is proposing a zone change from the current 15,000 square feet lot size be reduced to 9,000 square feet. The decision could change the character of our neighborhood. Please come to the Hearing where decisions, will be made. It is important!
Special Election on Tuesday, February 6th, 2007. This election is to fill the vacancy for our County Supervisor. It is important, vote! Candidate statements can be viewed at:
