A Special Board Meeting was called to confer with City Council Member Dina Nguyen on an up coming proposal to change the City Charter.  We wanted to know the mechanics of how the change would occur and she wanted a feel for our reaction to the proposal.   The proposal had been placed on the agenda for the 9-25-07 City Council Meeting.  If approved, the matter would be placed on the February 2008 Election Ballot.   Besides the issue of the proposed Charter, topics of discussion included, Districts, Term Limits and Redevelopment. In addition, Dina Nguyen advised she would like to meet with the CGGNA Board on a regular basis.
