A) Election of Board Officers: Fiscal Year 2008-2009
Robin Marcario elected President
Cheryl Armstrong elected Vice-President
Ralph Laundenslayer elected Secretary
Russ McDonald elected Treasurer

B) Treasurer report:
Expense Reimbursement for Annual Meeting
Robin $229.44 (Promotional material)
Cheryl  $63.71 (food and photographer, Lou Delgado)
Mail-in  $30.00 memberships
Total  $536.26 
           
C) Review of Annual Meeting held Saturday, July 12, 2008  
Attendance estimated at 128 persons.
Speakers’ lectern to be secured for 2009 annual meeting including warning lights for speakers’ time limits.
Two registration tables, staffed with three Board members were adequate.

D) Transfer of Financial Account:
After discussion of service/transactions at Garden Grove Union Bank, it was decided that a new account be opened by the Treasurer at Fullerton Community Bank at Euclid and Acacia Parkway with an initial check for $100.00 deposit in the next few weeks. Withdrawal of funds from Union Bank is to be authorized shortly thereafter by the President. Account signatures for the new account will be Treasurer McDonald and Secretary Launderslayer. 

E) Past Office Box Signatories:
Discussion and vote to transfer from Janine Fowler and Harry Pearce to Treasurer McDonald and Secretary Laudenslayer.

F) November Election Candidate Forum:
After discussion of AARP and other possible forums for candidates, it was decided that the Cggna sponsor our Candidate Forum on Saturday, September, 27th at the home of Cheryl Armstrong. A continental breakfast at 10:00am will precede the candidate presentations. 

Following the conclusion of the forum, it was suggested that a table be provided for each candidate to display information and speak with interested persons.
