General Meeting Report:
Called to order at 6:40PM by the Chair

Treasurer’s Report/Business:
- There has been no income from the last meeting.
- Motion to reimburse Robin Marcario $48.90 for postage associated with the last newsletter was approved by a vote of 5-0.
Secretary’s Report: is missing because the secretary was absent.
Brookhurst Triangle Discussion:
- An informal meeting with representatives of from JPI and the Board was held on Monday afternoon, on June 2, 2008.
- JPI presented some preliminary concepts for the project and sought our input.
- The meeting was cordial and we were able to express our concerns.
Main Street Discussion:
- Briefs have been filed at the Court of Appeals.
- It is felt that the Save Downtown Main Street has a strong case.
- Wheels of justice move slowly.
General Meeting Report:
- The following have accepted an invitation to attend our General Meeting:
- Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez.
- Supervisor Janet Nguyen.
- Council Member Rosen.
- Council Member Broadwater.
- A General Meeting Workshop has been scheduled at 7PM, Monday June 23, 2008 at Harry’s home.
- Bring crayons we are going to make signs
Meeting was adjourned at 745PM.
