Old/New Business:

1) Treasurer report: by Russ McDonald, Treasurer

• Current balance $982.95
• Debit card initiated for Cggna @ Union Bank on January 22, 2009; to be activated within 7 days and mailed to treasurer.

           
2) Other Concerns Discussed:  

• Appeal on Main Street development approval appears to be questionable due to current economic downturn.
• City loan to Union Dodge questioned by McDonald. Re-development Agency role discussed, along with history/cost of water/sewer services; billing reflects needed sewer repair costs (est. 25% of bills) plus water costs for two month period.
• Main Street Arch project elimination questioned; funding details not completed and cancellation resulted. Later activation of project possible.
• CGGNA Membership eligibility explained; only residents and local business owners (may be non-residents) are eligible.
• A spirited discussion of the causation of major world problems and their possible solutions were identified by various Board Members.
