CATHERINE AVENUE DEVELOPEMENT PROJECT IS APPROVED!   The owners of 9461 Catherine Avenue (corner of Gilbert Street and Catherine Avenue) have proposed to split their lot, modify an existing house and build a second.  The project seems to be in full compliance with building codes and zoning laws.  Following a public hearing the Planning Commission voted 7 - 0 in favor of the project.  What follows is a copy of the Official Notice of the hearing and part of the City Staff Report.  A complete copy of the report is available at the Planning Department in City Hall.
